REVIEW: We tried the new MrBeast Burger at the Village Hotel

In case you haven’t heard, a new American burger chain has come to town.

And we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to sample the food they had to offer, bringing the authentic taste of the United States of America to Warrington.

MrBeast Burger has become an international YouTube sensation in just over a year, now boasting 1,000 outlets worldwide.

It is now expanding across the UK and has opened a kitchen in the city at the Village Hotel on Center Park.

Among the chain specialties we ate was the “Beast Style” burger – two beef burgers with house seasoning, sharp American cheese, pickles, diced white onion, mayonnaise, ketchup and brown mustard on a soft roll .

It sounds good ? We’re happy to report it was good too, but before we get to the food, here’s how you can try the many dishes on the menu.

We also tried the Nashville Hot Chicken Tender Sandwich

All MrBeast Burger branches offer delivery and collection only. Orders can be placed via Deliveroo and Uber Eats, as well as the MrBeast Burger website.

We ordered through Uber Eats, skimping on delivery and opting for collection instead.

Although we were told we could pick up the order at 1:35pm from the Village Hotel, we were told we would have to wait and someone would bring it to us.

They never did, and after asking a member of staff again, we were finally given our order 20 minutes later.

There were no signs indicating where to go when entering the hotel, but as the chain is new they could be erected in due course.

As mentioned before, we ordered the Beast Style burger. The burgers themselves were cooked well – not overcooked but not undercooked either.

The cheese was the highlight, offering a sweet taste and mouth-watering texture, complemented well by the mustard and tangy pickles.

On top of that, we ordered a hot Nashville chicken sandwich, which came with mayonnaise, ketchup, shredded lettuce, and pickles.

As someone who loves spice, but not too much, we were slightly disappointed with the heat of the burger, but couldn’t knock the taste.

To complete our order, we chose portions of seasoned crinkle fries – fries seasoned with spicy red pepper, garlic, paprika, sugar and a hint of lime, and silly style fries.

The latter consisted of seasoned crinkle fries loaded with caramelized onions, American cheese, pickles, mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard and bacon.

Again the sides were winners, complimenting the burgers and ensuring we were packed afterwards.

Our four courses, which we ordered without drinks or biscuits for dessert, cost us £23.22.

The big question, was it worth it? Probably not, especially given the cost of living as it is.

Does MrBeast Burger offer something special, more than other big fast food chains such as McDonalds or Burger King? Again, probably not.

Are we glad we tried it? Certainly, and we wish the channel much success in Warrington.
